A collaborative improvisation experiment for voice and record players, using found objects (hifi/record players/mixers) to improvise a complex evolving sonic work, which is further mediated and developed via the vocal and the physical presence/interventions of the singer.

GWRANDO has been exploring this improvisation experiment in relation to a project investigating the role of the chapel in the community, culture and landscape of Wales, working with old recordings of Welsh hymns and Cymanfas, and from the Caniedydd (Anibynwyr hymn book).
